Thank you God

Today's Prayer

Thank you Lord for one more day. Not because we have been good, but because of your unconditional love for mankind. We are truly blessed to see another day, having the use and activity of our limbs, to be enclothed in our right mind and grateful for a reasonable portion of health and strength.

We have so much to be thankful for and words are inadequate to fully express the depth of the gratitude we feel for all that you have done.

Thank you for the rain that waters the earth, and replenishes the reservoirs for our existence; drinking, bathing and cooking. The water that comes from above provide nutrients for all plant life and creates a beautiful greenery that reminds us that life is abundant even in nature.

Thank you God for our families and special people who come into our lives that gives us inspiration and vigor to go on when it seems that we have come to the end of our road.

Thank you for every person you have allowed me to come in contact with in one way or another, good, bad or indifferent because each of them have impacted my life.

Thank you for being a God who knows all about your children, knowing when to chastise us when we step outside of your will and love us as we hold on to the faith of your unconditional love.

Thank you God for the person who inspired me to write and share this prayer, bless him according to his needs. Bless his sons as they seek your face for their lives. Hold up all our children as they endeavor to discover themselves concerning their place in life. Cover them with your compassion and most of all, GRACE and MERCY; in Jesus name, Amen.
